Google Chrome OS OR Google OS is the new Google operating system based on Google Chrome browser. Google has unveiled the plans for its new Google Chrome OS an open source operation system which will just take few seconds to start and get onto web.
Google Chrome OS will be an open source, lightweight operating system which will initially be relased for the Netbooks in second hal of 2010. The Google Chrome OS will have inbuilt features of anti viruses, anti malware and security updates - so no hassles of having software updates and versions.
Google Chrome OS is said to be created for people who spend most of their time on the web, and will be designed to power computers ranging from small netbooks to full-size desktop systems.
If the dream of Google comes true the operating system will become less important and your will not be required to pay for it as it will be available Open Source. Everything will be available in Software as a Service (SaaS) model. MS Outlook will be replaced by Gmail, MS Calendar by Google Calendar, MS Office by Google Docs or Zoho Docs etc.
