On Tuesday , MuscleNerd, a member of the iPhone-Dev team, showed up live demo of carrier unlock working on the official iPhone 3.0 firmware. The new method of carrier unlock for iPhone 3G is code named ultrasn0w by iPhone-Dev team.The basic aim of this unlock is to enable the use of iPhone 3G with any carrier and not restricting it to be locked to a single carrier. Back in December, the iPhone-Dev team showed its first version of iPhone 3G unlock through a method called yellowsn0w.
